Considering Comrade Mazi’s utmost concern for the betterment of Pensioners across the nation pave the way for his emergence as dully elected National President during the delegate conference held in the ancient City of Kano.
The Delegate conference which was sponsored by the State government under the able leadership of His Excellency Abba Kabir Yusuf had witnessed the arrival of delegates from across the thirty six States of the federation and Federal Capital Territory Abuja which signalled the emergence of National Executives of the Nigeria Union of Pensioners.
One of the delegate and Chairman of Nigeria Union of Pensioners, Dambatta Branch, Comrade Abdulaziz Alhassan Dambatta expressed satisfaction with the way and manner the election was conducted and felicitates with the newly elected National President Mazi Godwin Abamusi stressing that “As a Pensioner we all know the roles being played by Comrade Mazi in making life easier for Pensioners in the nation which necessites the Pensioners to reciprocate the gesture by ushering him in as National President alongside the incumbent State Chairman Comrade Salisu Ahmed Gwale to served as National Vice President,North West Zone.
Comrade Abdulaziz Alhassan said, “We solidly resolved and voted Comrade Salisu Ahmed Gwale as National Vice President, North West Zone having known him fully as responsible personality who always place the needs of his fellow Pensioners above his personal interest.
Adding that Gwale is a rare gem and we’re absolutely sure that he’ll immensely contributes to the development of the Union at National level, stressing that Salisu Ahmed Gwale always believed in dialogues and consultations rather than violence and confrontation on any matters related to Pensioners development.
Dambatta, also used the opportunity and felicitates with all the newly elected National Officers and prayed that they returned to their respective destinations safely.
He also commended the Executive Governor Engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf for his utmost concern to the welfare of the Pensioners and for sponsoring the delegate conference, assuring him that Pensioners would never forget such gesture and would continue to pray for him at all the times.
