The Honorable Commissioner, Kano State Ministry of Women Affairs, Children and Disabled, Amina Abdullahi Sani HOD, has taken a bold step towards creating a conducive working environment for staff by leading a comprehensive sanitation exercise within and outside the ministry’s premises.

In a press release issued by the director public enlightenment of the ministry Bintu Nuhu Yakasai.
The exercise, which was aimed at promoting a clean and healthy environment, saw the Commissioner join forces with staff to clean offices, surroundings, and the area outside the premises.


During the exercise, the Commissioner emphasized the importance of maintaining a clean environment, highlighting its direct link to good health and well-being.
She warned against dirty habits within the premises and pledged to continue providing cleaning materials to ensure the environment remains clean.
The Commissioner also used the opportunity to appeal to the State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, to consider a general renovation of the ministry’s facilities.

She noted that this would further enhance the working environment and contribute to the overall productivity of staff.
Staff of the ministry responded positively to the Commissioner’s initiative, commending her for her leadership and vision.

They expressed optimism that the sanitation exercise would yield positive results and improve their working conditions.
