Kano Pillars Collaborates RFI in a multi million Naira deal

The four times Nigerian Premier League Champion, Kano Pillars FC better known as (Sai Masu Gida) has signed a new partnership with Radio French International.

The General Manager of Kano Pillars Fc, Ahmed Musa Mon Oon, said the contract RFI will run into different categories which includes providing Sports Kits Such as Jersey to the main Kano Pillars Fc team, the Second team, Junior Kano Pillars Fc and Kano Pillars U19, U15 as well as Pillars U13.

Ahmed Musa said they will also train Kano Pillars media team once or twice monthly on how to edit videos and post pillars matches and updates.

He said this today at the unveiling ceremony of the Kano Pillars – RFI partnership package comprising Sports Kits as well as Media equipment that include Computers and Cameras held at Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano State.

Kano Pillars Fc is the first ever Nigerian Team to partner with Radio France International because of its popularity and teaming fans across the West African countries.

“The partnership is the first of its kind that represents the biggest sports kits and training in the history of the”Sai Masu Gida” Kano Pillars aimed at developing and advertising the team globally”‘ he said.

He said the contract is only for one season 2025/2026 Nigerian Premier League Football Season and will be reviewed continuously.

On his part, Mr, Joe Penny, Director/ Chief Coordinator RFI Hausa in Nigeria said the partnership is to brand Kano Pillars into international standard and take it to the next level as it is Ahmed Musa’s ambition for the team to win the league and advance further.

He also said RFI with social media handles of over 800,000 followers on tick tok, 1.6 million followers on Facebook will be published, updated and posted for previews of Kano Pillars Fc.

“The partnership with Kano Pillars goes with the club vision and where the club is right now and also where the team will be in the future”, he said.

The partnership consists of one hundred million naira, which amounts to a package of N45 million in cash and equipments worth N55 million naira.
