All is set for the opening ceremony of the 8th edition of the national youth games hosted by the executive governor of Delta State, Honourable Sheriff Oborework.
Governor Sherrif said that about 5,776 athletes from 29 states had already arrived.
The governor disclosed this while speaking to newsmen after inspecting some Facilities such as a shooting hall and swimming pool, among others, at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Delta State.
He gave the assurance of this year’s NYG will be different and better than previous years.
The opening ceremony will be in a colorful and entertaining
As only four games will be played tomorrow, include Karate, table tennis and weightlifting at the Weighing Gym among others.
