KANO HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY MEMBER CONSTRUCTS THREE HEALTH FACILITIES WORTH OVER SIXTY- FOUR MILLION NAIRA IN DALA LGA

About ₦64 million has been expended on the construction of three new healthcare centres in Dala Local Government Area, as part of a constituency intervention project spearheaded by the member representing Dala in the Kano State House of Assembly, Hon. Lawan Hussaini (Cediyar ‘Yan Gurasa), who is equally the Majority Leader of the Assembly.

In a press statement issued by the Dala LGA information officer.

Speaking during the event , the Kano State Commissioner of Health, Dr. Abubakar Labaran Yusuf, commended the lawmaker for his effort in strengthening healthcare delivery at the grassroots level.

He noted that he had long heard of the projects and felt compelled to inspect them personally even before their official launching, so he could brief the Executive Governor of Kano State.

The Commissioner added that Governor Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf has constructed a total of 187 similar health centres statewide, with some already operational.
He assured that all necessary equipment, staffing, and solar power systems requested for the facilities would be reported to the Governor, who may personally inaugurate them once fully equipped.

He congratulated the people of the constituency on this significant achievement and encouraged them to continue praying for the success of the state government.

In his remarks, Hon. Lawan Hussaini described the day as memorable , highlighting healthcare is a vital aspect of human development, second only to food.
He praised the current administration for prioritizing the sector, noting that after education, and peace it completes the three main pillars of a thriving society.

He stressed that the project is part of the constituency development initiative granted by the Governor to lawmakers to address needs in areas beyond his immediate reach.
He expressed satisfaction over how the Commissioner saw the appropriate spending of public funds in the constituent

The Commissioned Health facilities comprise ,
Kurna Dan Asibiti,
Umma Zariya and
Gidan Dagaci

The legislator appealed to the Commissioner to provide all necessary equipment to the health institutions to further ease the burden on General hospitals.

Representing the Executive Chairman of Dala LGA, Alhaji Surajo Ibrahim Imam, the Vice Chairman, Alhaji Abdulaziz Dayyabu Maiturare, expressed gratitude on behalf of the people of Gobirawa over the positive development

In their separate speeches some Healthcare personnel manning the new facilities, including Alhaji Ibrahim M. Sulaiman of Kurna Dan Asibiti, Binta Abubakar of Umma Zariya, and Amina Lawan of Gidan Dagaci, commended the government for its vision and stressed the need for additional staffers , watchmen, beds, and working tools aimed at improving service delivery.

The event was graced by the NNPP Chairman in Dala, Alhaji Dayyabu Maiturare, elected and appointed councillors and advisers to the chairman, and host of others
