Dala Reps member re-integrates one thousand out of school children

During the distribution of school uniform to these children, the Chairman of Dala Local Government, Alhaji Surajo Ibrahim Imam, praised Hon. Lawan Hussaini Chediyar Yan Gurasa, the Member representing Dala constituency, for his dedication to education.

He stated that this initiative is inspired by the commitment of His Excellency, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, to improving education across Kano State.

Alhaji surajo ibrahim imam who was represented by the Education Secretary of Dala, Malam Bala Magawata, the Chairman emphasized that the beneficiaries are children who have been out of school due to socioeconomic challenges.

He noted that the gesture would allow these children to experience the joy of education like their peers.

He also highlighted that this is just the beginning of Hon. Lawan Hussaini efforts in addressing educational challenges in the area.

Malam Bala Magawata further detailed the achievements of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf in the education sector, including the provision of school furniture, teaching and learning materials, school renovations, and distribution of essential items to enhance education in Dala Local Government.

In his remarks, the representative of member representing dala Hon. Abdulkadir Muazu Aikawa commended Hon. Lawan Hussaini for his numerous contributions to Dala Local Government, which include constructing three hospitals in Gobirawa ward, securing admission for students in the School of Nursing and Hygiene, covering JAMB registration fees, constructing schools, drainages, and public toilets, among other projects aimed at improving the well-being of the community.

NNPP Chairman in Dala, Galadiman Zanna, Alhaji Dayyabu Ahmad Maiturare, expressed his delight over this initiative and urged the community to support government efforts to enhance education in the local government and Kano State at large.

He also appreciated Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for allocating four commissioner positions to the Dala area, in addition to other political appointments.

Speaking the Nigeria Union of Teachers( NUT) chairman , Malam Yahaya Ramadan commended the initiative, noting that it directly addresses the challenges faced by children.

He also called for support in constructing a secretariat for teachers in dala LGA.
