The Chairman of Rogo Local Government Council, Alhaji Abubakar Mustapha Rogo, has reaffirmed his administration’s unwavering commitment to boosting infrastructure development across the area.

He disclosed this during an inspection visit to Rogo Sabon Gari Ward, where one of the faulty transformers is currently undergoing renovation.
According to a statement issued by the Council’s Information Officer, Abdu Bako Abdullahi, the project is in line with the present administration’s drive, under the leadership of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, to transform communities and improve living standards across the state.
Speaking on the initiative, Alhaji Abubakar Mustapha Rogo said:
“We are ready to provide adequate infrastructural development for our people, and by the grace of Allah, this is just the beginning. More projects are underway.”
The ongoing renovation at Sabon Gari Ward is expected to restore electricity to areas including Titin Shabba’u, Hayi, Kasuwar Ilya, and Unguwar Dan Ade. Additionally, Rogo-Ruma Ward will also benefit from the intervention.

In reaction, a resident of Kofar Fada, Comrade Abubakar Sani Rogo, popularly known as Kwankwason Rogo, expressed heartfelt appreciation on behalf of the community.
He noted that residents had endured over six months of total darkness despite repeated complaints to relevant stakeholders.
He commended the Chairman for finally addressing their plight and bringing light back to the area.
