Madobi council sponsors thirty Indigent students At Tertiary Institute

Madobi Local Government Council Chairman, Honorable Suleiman Dan Azumi, has sponsored thirty indigenous students to study at Sa’adatu Rimi College of Education, Kano, demonstrating his commitment to education sector.

In a press statement issued by the information officer Awwal Musa Yola.

The chairman said the gesture is a significant investment in the future of these students and the community, providing them with the opportunity to acquire knowledge and skills that will benefit them throughout their lives.

Sa’adatu Rimi College of Education,  is a renowned institution with a strong reputation for excellence in teacher education, the collage offers various programs, including NCE and degree programs, with a range of course combinations to choose from, such as Arabic/English, Biology/Chemistry,Economics and Geography.

In his speech, the Supervisory Councilor of education in the area, Comrade Kamilu A. Bala Said  Dan Azumi’s sponsorship covers tuition fees and other educational expenses, ensuring that these students can focus on their studies without financial burdens.

Kamilu A Bala  added that this initiative is expected to have a positive impact on the community, as these students will become educated and skilled individuals, contributing to the development of Madobi Local Government area.

Speaking, the NNPP Cocus chairman of the area Alhaji Habib Hassan El- YAKUB, who was ably represented by former Interim management Officer of the local government Alhaji Muhammad Sani Gora , described Dan Azumi Scholarship program as  commendable, and call on beneficiaries to be good ambassadors of Madobi local government throughout their years of studies at the collage.

Also Speaking, the Director Personnel Management of the area Alhaji Auwalu Malami commended the  chairman’s efforts in promoting education adding that this Scholarship program is a testament for his dedication to the well-being of his community .

Speaking on behalf of the students who benefitted from the scholarship program, Isyaku Haruna Maraya, commended Dan Azumi Administration’s for the kind gesture and promised to justify the confidence reposed in them.

Similarly, the Honorable chairman Suleman Dan Azumi has received an appreciation letter from Kano state Hisba Board Commandant Malam Aminu Ibrahim Daurawa which was presented by Madobi Hisba Commandant Malam Sani Abdulsalam in his office.

The occasion was well attended by vice Chairman, Director Personnel Management, Chief Personal Officer, Hisba Commandant, Head of Community and Social Development, Head of Works, Treasurer, Head of WASH, Elected Councilor and Supervisory Councilors, Special Advisers, among others
