Nutrition intervention program has been launched in Madobi Local Government area, the distribution of Bulbul, a nutrient-rich food supplement, to children from six months old in various health centers across the area.

Chairman Alhaji Suleiman Dan Azumi launched the program at the Madobi General Hospital, emphasizing the importance of nutrition for children’s health, growth, and education.

He stated that providing this supplement is crucial for ensuring the health and well-being of future generations.
The Chairman commended Hajiya Wasila Muhammad Usman, Primary Healthcare Co-ordinator of the area for her efforts in implementing this initiative.
Alhaji Suleiman Dan Azumi advised parents to properly prepare and administer the Bulbul supplement to their children, ensuring they receive its nutritional benefits.
Representatives from the Kano State Ministry of Health, including Dr. Nura Mohammad Wali and Murtala Sani Abdullahi, provided detailed explanations of the benefits of the Bulbul supplement for children’s health.

The Chairman also appreciated the support of organizations promoting maternal and child health, such as the Arewa Youth Forum, which has been actively involved in healthcare initiatives in the area.
