Kumbotso Local Government Hosts Municipal Zone information officers

Kumbotso Local Government Area recently hosted the Information officers from the Municipal Zone.

The event, aimed at strengthening collaboration among information officers, was marked by the presence of key dignitaries including the Chairman of Kumbotso Local Government, Comrade Abdullahi Ghali Shitu Basaf, and the Chairman of the information officers Forum , Alhaji Ahmed Muhammad Sani Gwarzo Gamji.

During the event, Alhaji Ahmed Muhammad Sani Gwarzo Gamji congratulated, Comrade Abdullahi Ghali Shitu on his new role as Chairman of Kumbotso Local Government Area.

He further emphasized the importance of cooperation between Kumbotso’s leadership and the local information officer, led by Sharif Zahraddeen Usman kofar Nassarawa, to enhance the dissemination of government policies.

This collaboration aims to support the development agenda of the Kano State Government, led by Governor Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, and improve the lives of the people of Kumbotso.

In his remarks, Executive Chairman Kumbotso LGA Comrade Abdullahi Ghali Shitu Basaf expressed his appreciation to the information officers for their efforts, recognizing them as valuable partners in advancing media activities in the local government.

He reaffirmed his commitment to fostering a strong partnership with the media in order to effectively communicate government initiatives and policies.

He also thanked the Commissioner for Information, Comrade Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya, for his support in strengthening the media sector.

In his remark Alhaji Umar Muhammad Kabara, the Director Personal management of Kumbotso Local Government, And Head of community Department Alh Usman Isah also took the opportunity to express gratitude to the zonal information officer.

The event was an important step in promoting greater coordination and collaboration between the government and media officers, ensuring that the people of Kumbotso benefit from effective communication of policies and development initiatives.
