As part of the revitalization efforts, the Commissioner announced that a nine-member committee will soon be established to develop comprehensive solutions for the company’s challenges.

The committee will comprise representatives from the Ministry, Triumph Publishing Company, and external media experts.

Chaired by the Commissioner himself, it will oversee the transformation process once inaugurated.

Earlier, the Managing Director of Triumph Publishing Company, Muhammed Hamisu Abdullahi, highlighted key challenges facing the company, including obsolete printing equipment, staff shortages, and roof damage caused by strong winds.

He also called for the regularization of casual staff, urging that they be made permanent and pensionable.

The Managing Director commended the Commissioner for his ongoing support and congratulated him on his appointment.

In his remarks, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Adamu Bala Muhammad, applauded the Commissioner’s commitment to revitalizing the company, describing it as a significant step towards strengthening government-owned media in Kano State.
