A day after the assumption of office, the Honorable Commissioner Ministry for Public Procurement Project Monitoring and Evaluation, Kano Comrade Nura Iro Ma’aji has today called and conducted a meeting with the management, staff and technical advisors of the ministry.

It was a familiarization meeting, aimed to boost and improve operational efficiency and effectiveness of staff of the ministry.D
Director Planning and Statistics, Bldr. Mas’ud Lado Saleh after a simple self-introduction, introduced the Honorable Commissioner to the meeting.
He briefed the meeting about the attitude to the work of the Honorable Commissioner and his willingness to carry everyone along.
In his address, the Honorable Commissioner emphasized the importance of teamwork, transparency, proactiveness and innovation in public services.
“This meeting is organized to enable us to familiarize ourselves. I was posted to this ministry by His Excellency, Engr Abba Kabir Yusuf, I held several positions in this administration but I assured that the work of this ministry is the most critical.”
“I have commitments and goodwill to work in respect with everybody and need to be corrected if deviated from the usual route.”
Engr Ibrahim Idris, Director Civil Engineering and Infrastructure, during the general comments session, drew the attention of the Honorable Commissioner to look into and prioritize staff welfare and well-being.
