Kano Ministry of Transportation constitutes A twelve Member Committee

Kano state government has inaugurated Twelve members caretaker committee of the Car dealers Association, state chapter.

The caretaker committee has Madugu Ibrahim Madugu as chairman, Abubakar Abdullahi Vice Chairman, Muhammad Dattijo Secretary General and Alhaji Salisu Amkas Treasurer.

While others are Alhaji Auwalu Aminu Hassan and Ibrahim Muhammad Inyas will serve as welfare officer and Public Relations officer of the committee respectively.

In a press release issued by the Ibrahim Adamu Kofar Nassarawa by the information officer Ibrahim Adamu Kofar Nassarawa

Inaugurating the committee at the conference hall the State Commissioner Ministry of Transport, Alhaji Ibrahim Ali Namadi Dala charged members of the committee to complement government efforts by initiating vital programmes and work as a team to move the association forward.

Alhaji Ali Namadi Dala said Car dealers have a great role to play in the economic growth of the state as commercial nerve centre especially at this period when the Kano state government under the leadership of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf is reviving the Transport sector. 

He said the constituting of the caretaker committee was inline with state government policies to revitalise the activities of transport association to go with modernization and urged all the stakeholders to put hand on deck for achieving the set goals.

He said the present administration of governor Abba Yusuf has done a lot since he assumed office by providing good policies and programmes that will improve the sector, aimed to enhancing the internally generated revenue in the state.

Also speaking the Permanent Secretary of the ministry Alhaji Abdulmumin Musa Aliyu said the state government under the leadership of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf have enough synergy with development associations for the benefit of socio-economic growth. 

Musa Aliyu, describes Car Dealers Association as one of the respected association in the state adding that the appointment of the caretaker committee members comes at the right time and called on them to justify the conference reposed on them.

In his acceptance speech the chairman of the caretaker committee Alhaji Madugu Ibrahim Madugu assured his commitment to work round the clock with his members to achieve the set goals.M adugu  however, thanked the Kano state Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf and commissioner of the ministry for the support and assistance given to the association.

Swearing in of the caretaker committee was presided over by legal Director of the ministry of Transport Hajiya Binta Tukur Abdullahi.

Similarly the state commissioner transport Alhaji Ibrahim Ali Namadi Dala has inaugurated members of the Tricycle owners and Riders association.

The caretaker committee has Nazifi BK Gidan Kudin as chairman, Alhaji Abba Umar majaze deputy chairman and Sagiru as secretary while Usaini Muhammad will serve as treasurer and Auwalu yahaya jajiran financial secretary 

Inaugurating the caretaker committee the commissioner said the state government is always recognising the effort of the Tricycle owners and Riders in improving the internally generated revenue especially at this period when the Kano state government concluded all arrangements to revive the transport sector.
