Kano Head of civil Service urge newly posted permanent secretaries To uphold principles of service delivery

Kano State Head of Service, Abdullahi Musa, has tasked newly posted Permanent Secretaries and a director to the Office of the Head of Service to uphold the principles of improved service delivery, discipline, and ethical conduct.

The newly posted officials include Salisu Mustapha, from AGS-Cabinet office to the office of the Head of Service as Permanent Secretary Establishment , Salahuddeen Habib Isa from Special Duties-Cabinet office to the office of the Head Service as Permanent Secretary Human Resource, and Abdulkadir Shehu, Director Administration and General Services from Ministry for High Education also to the office of Head of Service as DAGS.

In his remarks today during a weekly Joint Directorate Meeting held each Friday at the office of the Head of civil Service, Musa emphasized the importance of hard work, dedication, and adherence to the highest standards of service.

He encouraged the newly posted officials to lead by example, promoting a culture of excellence and integrity within their respective directorates 

The HOS also stressed the need for effective collaboration and teamwork, emphasizing that collective efforts are crucial in achieving the state’s developmental goals.

He expressed his confidence in the newly posted officials, believing that their experience will significantly contribute to the growth and progress of Kano State.

He called on all the staff to give them their maximum cooperation, as they are all working together to serve the people in the society. 

He emphasized that their collective efforts are crucial in achieving the state’s developmental goals and improving the lives of citizens.

The Head of Service also highlighted that posting of civil servants from one place to another are intended to enhance service delivery, not as a form of punishment or penalty, but rather as an opportunity to broaden their experience, learn and contribute more effectively.

The two Permanent Secretaries as well as the DAGS, pledged to deliver their best efforts to enhance the civil service and commit to working collaboratively with all staff as a team.
