District Head of Dambatta,Sarkin Ban Kano,Dr Mansur Dr Muktar Adnan made this known during a reception organized in honor of Professor Kabiru Abdussalam who was appointed to Professorial level and Chief Consultant Chemical Pathologist by the Senate of Bayero University Kano.
Dr Mansur Muktar represented by Alhaji Baba Ado emphasizes the importance of mutual respect and cooperation among members of the society, stressing that challenges can only be overcome through collaborative approaches.
He thanked the People of ‘Yanbanga for the reception accorded Professor Kabiru Abdussalam who is from ‘Yanbanga extraction in Dambatta and appealed to them to sustain the tempo.
In his Speech the Vice Chancellor, Bayero University,Kano Professor Haruna Musa revealed that Professor Kabiru Abdussalam is among the rare gems in the University who distinguished himself in research and academic excellence,hence the management of the University conferred him with Professional Position and Chief Consultant in Chemical Pathology.
Professor Haruna Musa, further enjoined him to redouble efforts in Research and academic breakthroughs.
He commended the people of Yanbanga for the warm reception accorded Professor Kabiru Abdussalam.
While contributing, the District Head of Makoda, Architect Ali Mukhtar, lauded the Professor’s kind heart of bringing succor to the lives of the people in the Area and urged him to sustain the tempo for the overall developments of the twin localities.
He also advised him to be steadfast in the discharge of his responsibilities.
Also speaking former Chairman of Dambatta local government,Alhaji Musa Alhassan said they have staged the event to serve as a morale booster to the Professor Kabiru Abdussalam and let other associations emulate the gesture.
He thanks dignitaries for attending the event which he described as first of its kind in the Area.

In his speech, Professor Kabiru Abdussalam expressed profound gratitude to the high caliber personalities especially,Sarkin Ban Kano, Dr Mansur Muktar and Sa’in Kano, Architect Ali Mukhtar, Vice Chancellor, Bayero University, Kano Professor Haruna Musa as well as all those who comes from far and near to grace the occasion including the Chief Medical Director of Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital and other top ranking Academicians from Bayero University Kano and other Institutions.
Yanbanga Clan is one of the outstanding dynasties in the area with families in Warawa, Babura,Bichi and Doguwa local government areas among others.
Gifts were presented to him by relatives and well wishers from within and outside the local government area.
