Bagwai Local Government has launched a distribution of free Uniforms to 10,850 students, along with offering admission letters to 100 students to attend the Federal College of Education Technical Bichi.

According to Chairman Alhaji Bello Abdullahi Gadanya, this initiative is part of the state government’s plan to support education, particularly for underprivileged students, by alleviating the burden of purchasing school materials from their parents and encouraging students to pursue education.

Chairman Gadanya also announced plans to construct new classrooms in schools across the region.

The Education Secretary of the local government, Malam Mustapha Lawan Majingini, emphasized the importance of fair distribution of the materials, as instructed by the Kano State Government.

Other officials, including the acting Director Personnel Management of the area Alhaji Sani Umar Shanono, and representatives of the Parent-Teacher Association and the local government NNPP party Chairman, commended the initiative and pledged their support for its success.
