Chairperson of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), Kano State Chapter, Hajiya Sa’adatu Salisu Yusha’u, has expressed deep sorrow over the death of prominent businessman, Alhaji Aminu Dantata.
Hajiya Sa’adatu Salisu Yusha’u ,led a powerful delegation of Local Government Chairmen to condole the family of the late philanthropist in Koki, Kano metropolis.
Alhaji Aminu Dantata died recently in the United Arab Emirates, Dubai after an illness
In her remarks, Hajiya Sa’adatu described the demise as a monumental loss not only to Kano State and Nigeria but to the entire world, considering his life long commitment towards supporting Islam and uplifting the wellbeing of the greater humanity.

She noted in an emotion ladden voice that his absence which will be pretty hard to fill will be felt by one and all.
This was enclosed in a statement released by ALGON’s Public Relations Officer, Alhaji Surajo Ibrahim Imam, who is also the Executive Chairman of Dala Local Government, through the council’s information officer Hassana Aminu
Hajiya Sa’adatu Salisu Yusha’u highlighted that Alhaji Aminu Dantata lived an exemplary life, citing that he was the third person in history to be granted the rare privilege of being buried in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, despite the fact that he did not die there describing it as an honour of high esteem.

She offered prayers on behalf of all the local government chairmen’ of all the 44 council Chairmen statewide asking Allah to forgive his shortcomings, grant him eternal mercy, and bless his descendants.
She also prayed for peace and unity to reign supreme in Kano State and Nigeria at large.
