AL-AMEEN ACADEMY KANO CELEBRATES IT’S 20TH ANNIVERSARY AND OLD STUDENT’ REUNION

In his opening remarks, the Chairman of the Parent-Teacher Association, Malam Usman Medile, expressed gratitude for the quality education provided by the school to its students.

He also urged parents to prioritize paying their children’s school fees.

The school proprietress and chairlady, Hajiya Maryam Yakubu, stated that the school was founded in 2005 with extra lesson classes and has since produced over 10,000 students. 

She praised the dedication and hard work of the teachers in helping students excel in various fields of education.

The Guest of Honor, Hon. Ghali Basaf, who is also the Chairman of Kumbotso Local Government, congratulated the school on its 20th anniversary and emphasized the importance of education in the community.

He then, doneted One Hundred Thousand Naira to Future ambition students.

Ghali Basaf assured that the local government council is committed to promoting Western and Islamic education in the area.

Three students presented papers on the following topics: “20 Years of Excellence” by Umar Yakubu, “The Power of Education” by Abubakar Isa, and “The Role of Education in Society” by Maimuna Abubakar.

Other notable attendees who presented speeches during the event included Village Head of Medile , Malam Abubakar Abdulqadir, who represented Malam Usman Yusuf, and Honorable Alhaji Yusuf Oyoyo, who is the Governor’s Adviser on Students’ Affairs, and School DG Dr. Bello Musa Yakubu among others.

The event, which took place at the Kano State Library on Ahmadu Bello Way, was attended by former students from the graduating classes of 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024, as well as parents, teachers, and other community members from the Medile area of Kumbotso Local Government.
