Kano State Government, under the visionary leadership of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, is taking significant steps to enhance analytical capabilities in the solid minerals sector.

As part of this initiative, the government is collaborating with MESLO MOKSH to establish a state-of-the-art scientific and laboratory equipment hub in the State.
This facility aims to provide comprehensive solutions for the analytical challenges associated with solid mineral sampling.
The disclosure was made by the Commissioner Ministry of Solid Mineral and Natural Resources, Alhaji Hamza Safiyanu, during a presentation in the ministry’s conference room.
The presentation was made by Engineer Ahmed Tarek Sa’id, the Managing Director of MESLO MOKSH, a globally recognized company with over 40 years of experience in scientific analysis.
Commissioner Hamza Safiyanu, represented by the Permanent Secretary, Engineer Mansur Yakubu, expressed optimism about the partnership, highlighting MESLO MOKSH’s extensive expertise.
‘….this collaboration is expected to position Kano State as a leader in solid mineral sample analysis in the northern region of this Country.
Also this cooperative effort follows directives from Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, who is committed to enhancing the state’s capabilities in solid mineral analysis and beyond, the Commissioner added.
Engineer Ahmed Tarek Sa’id assured the Kano State Government of MESLO MOKSH’s readiness to collaborate in the establishment of this analytical laboratory equipment hub, which will cater specifically to solid mineral-related samples.
To round off the presentation, the Managing Director engaged with the ministry’s directors during an interactive questions and answers session, addressing various inquiries related to the partnership.
This collaboration is a positive step towards strengthening Kano State’s industrial and analytical infrastructure, ensuring better resource management and economic growth in the state and beyond.
