Tudun Wada Local Government has officially launched measles/rubella vaccination and integrated child healthcare campaign.

Speaking during the flag-off ceremony held in the town of Ruwa, the Chairperson of Tudun Wada Local Government, Hajiya Sa’adatu Salisu Yushau, who also serves as the Chairperson of all 44 Local Government Council Chairpersons in Kano State, announced that the program is completely free.
She noted that the initiative is aimed at improving the health and wellbeing of children across the area.
Represented by the Director personal and Management , Alhaji Ibrahim D. Haruna Bichi, Hajiya Sa’adatu described that the Local Government Council will remain committed to advancing healthcare delivery and other essential services for the people of Tudun Wada.
She also expressed gratitude to the Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, for his support to healthcare workers across the 44 Local Government Areas, noting that such interventions are crucial for improving the living conditions of the people.
In his goodwill message, the District Head of Tudun Wada, Alhaji Bello Mahmud, urged residents to continue cooperating with health officials to ensure the success of the vaccination exercise.
Also speaking, primary health care coordinator Murtala Isah Yako, disclosed that temporary but well-trained personnel have been deployed for a smooth and successful implementation of the exercise.
