People in the community urge to redouble their efforts in supporting pregnant women to access maternal and new born child health care services in the state (MNCH).
Disclosing this during her presentation, the chief executive officer also chairperson kanslam pharmacist maimuna yakubu Muhammad said the essence of the one day interactive session with women stakeholders in the state is to create an awareness on the importance of male participation in women’s health care services.

The executive director added that Men and service providers are change agents who serve as educators to families as well mentor other men in the community.
Pharmacist yakubu said that people in the community should desist from any harmful practices that can adversely impact the health of women and girls, but to advocate for policies and programs that would support gender equality.

She pointed out that when mothers are empowered and educated their families have better nutrition.
The executive officer said Society for the advancement and empowerment of Nigeria(SWODEN) in collaboration with Nutrition international is currently implementing the project in five local government areas in the state which include Gaya, Kumbotso,Nassarawa,Warawa and wudil.
