A new Radio and Television called Kadiriyya Radio/ Television has been opened in Giginyu area of Kano city.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, the Chairman of the media Shek Dr. Ibrahim Isah Abdullahi Makwarari said it was created to educate, enlighten and unite the Muslim community on the right path through the teachings of the holy Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him.
He said that Qadiriyya Radio and Television will also educate the community on business and socioeconomic activities as well as entertainment and political affairs in Nigeria and abroad through it’s website www.qadiriyyaradio/tvnigeria.com
Shek Ibrahim Isa Makwarari invited all Islamic scholars, students and experts in different fields to contribute to the development of Islamic and community affairs.
In their separate speech, Dr. Adam Kamaluddeen Adamu Nama’aji Alfindiki and the chief imam of Jami’ul Kaumi Juma’at mosque in Kurna Shek Jamilu Alkadiri and the secretary of Rabida Muhammadiyya Nigeria Abul Bashar Ibada explained the importance of the two channels in conveying the message of Islam and good ideology to the people.
