Tahfeez School of Health Sciences Kibiya has introduced a unique academic policy making the study of the Qur’an and Fiqhu (Islamic jurisprudence) compulsory for all its students.

In a press release issued by the zonal information officer rano LGA Rabiu Khalil Kura.

This initiative is part of the institution’s efforts to blend modern medical education with Islamic values.

This was disclosed by the Provost of the institution Mukhtar Ismail Gwarzo, who led a delegation of selected academic and non-academic staff during a courtesy visit to the Chairman of Rano Local Government, Malam Naziru Yau, in his office.

The Provost explained that the integration of spiritual and moral teachings into the health sciences curriculum aims to produce health professionals who are not only skilled in their field but also guided by ethical and religious principles.

He added that the policy reflects the institution’s commitment to developing well-rounded graduates who can serve their communities with both professional competence and spiritual integrity.

In his response, Chairman Malam Naziru Yau represented by the D.P.M. Alh.Ado Danazumi commended the institution for its visionary approach.

He described the initiative as timely and commendable, emphasizing the importance of instilling moral values in future healthcare workers.

Ado Danazumi further pledged the Council’s support to the school in achieving its educational and spiritual goals.

The visit also provided an opportunity for both parties to explore areas of collaboration in community health outreach and professional development.
