At least one thousand women have received support through a poultry empowerment program with each receiving four chickens in Danbatta Local Government.

The initiative aims to boost women’s economic independence, especially in agriculture and poultry farming.
During the distribution event the Chairman of Danbatta Local Government area Hon. Jamilu Abubakar Danbatta, highlighted his administration’s commitment to women’s economic empowerment, inspired by former Senator Engineer Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso’s vision of self-reliance for rural residents.

The NNPP Chairman of Danbatta Local Government, Alhaji Hamisu Musa Malanta, commended the current administration under Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for facilitating this initiative, which will benefit the rural women.
Beneficiaries who received the support, Hajiya Hussaina Umar Danbatta and Malama Rakiya Abdullahi from Gwarafjawa expressed their commitment in making the judicious use of it.
The event was attended by prominent politicians from Danbatta.
