Executive Chairman of Dala Local Government Council ,Alhaji Surajo Ibrahim Imam, has refurbished the operational vehicle of the Civil Defence Office of the area in an effort to deepen security operations across the locality and enable the personnel to effectively carry out their duties devoid of hitches
Handing over the vehicle at the completion of the work, Alhaji Surajo Ibrahim Imam extolled the operatives over their level of sacrifice and dedication
He described them as reliable partners in progress in the zeal to ensure democratic governance going by the enviable role they have been playing in ensuring peace and security reign supreme within the larger domain as well as safeguarding the lives and properties of the citizens.

He said“The Civil Defence are among the key paramilitary outfits helping to prevent thievery and all forms of minor and hardened criminality aimed at ensuring any offender is nabbed and brought to justice .”
The Chairman further expressed his utmost appreciation over the commitment and level of professionalism of the officers in the discharge of their laid down duties.
According to him, this was what informed the decision to repair the operational vehicle and office facilities.

He disclosed that about ₦2,918,452.57 was spent on the fix and commended the auto Mechanic for a superb job
He however advised that the iron frame on the top of the vehicle should be strengthened further as the current reinforcement according to him is weakened.

Alhaji Surajo also urged the officers to ride the vehicle with utmost care and proper maintenance as they maintained other equipment
In his remarks, the Dala Civil Defence CSC Jamilu Muhammad Adamu expressed appreciation to the Chairman for the kind gesture, describing the intervention as timely and a source of pride, rejigging, propelling and above all motivation for the officers in performing their spelt out duties diligently.

Also speaking, the Director Personnel Management of the Council , Alhaji Bakari Abba, called on the officers to continue to demonstrate commitment and dedication in carrying out their daily assignments for the benefit of the community and national development at large.
