Speaking at the event, Alhaji Suraj Ibrahim Imam described the occasion, attended largely by party members from Gobirawa Ward, as very significant.

He expressed delight  that all those present were members of a similar  family who had earlier parted  but have now reunited to move forward with a common purpose.

The Chairman stated that he joined the APC with a clear intention and strong commitment to work tirelessly for the progress and development of Dala Local Government.

He further noted that Gobirawa Ward has brought together people and leaders from diverse backgrounds, including former office holders of the Dala Local Government Council.

According to him, all political blocs have now become united with the shared goal of achieving sustainable development for the area.

He added that by combining the political strength and successes previously recorded under the NNPP with those of the APC, the party would deliver massive electoral support to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and attract meaningful developmental projects that will improve the lives of the people.

In his address , a former Chairman of Dala Local Government, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulaiman Dan Isile,  called on all party faithful  to embrace unity and cooperation.

He noted that with sincerity and collective effort, success would be achieved easily expressing optimism that future elections would be conducted peacefully devoid of violence.

He further urged party members to exercise patience and tolerance, stressing that supporters of the former NNPP structure and those of the APC should see themselves as members of one family hence the need to work harmoniously

Speaking at the event, the Commissioner for Environment and Climate Change (ACReSAL), Dr. Dahiru Muhammad Hashim, highlighted the importance of unity in achieving meaningful development.

He explained that the political alignment was driven by genuine intention to build a better society and to attract major projects and federal government interventions to Kano State.

Dr. Hashim added that such cooperation would propel  Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf Kano State in implementing key programmes in education, healthcare, empowerment, and the overall socio economic facets

. He reminded the audience that historically, Kano State had often been in the side in the country since the First Republic, a situation which yielded little benefit when compared to states such as Lagos.

The Commissioner thus, called on all stakeholders to give maximum support to the Governor, noting that he is working diligently to ensure development across Gobirawa Ward, Dala Local Government, and Kano State as a whole.

Other speakers urged political  office holders to prioritize the welfare of the people, while praying that the new political realignment would bring peace, forestall conflicts, and promote unity and dedication to service for the overall development of the community.

The event was attended by top APC leaders and stakeholders from Gobirawa Ward and other parts of Dala Local Government, who gathered to formally welcome the Chairman into the APC.
