The years of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano state have been described as blessed to the people of the state.
The state Commissioner for Health, Dr. Abubakar Labaran Yusuf made the disclosure in a press release issued from the Public Relations Unit of the ministry and made available to the press.
Dr. Labaran was enthusiastically saying this in celebration of the 62nd birthday anniversary of Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf.
He said the gradual transformation of Kano to a mega city by the governor with exclusive attention to healthcare system indicates that Kano people are blessed with focused and compassionate leader.
The commissioner reminded people that His Excellency has proven his love to the state since when he was the commissioner of works during the tenure of Sen. Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, during which the administration, through his ministry carried out numerous projects that changed the face of Kano state.
Dr. Labaran stated that since the inception of this government, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf hasn’t been dissuaded by internal and external threats from realizing the contents of his blueprint of providing purposeful leadership.
He says, “It is worth noting that governor Abba Kabir has been providing sterling leadership that changes the political landscape of the state.
“This type of stylistic governance, full with sympathy, hard work and kindness endears him love and acceptability by the majority of people.
“The 24hrs of the governor are servitude to his people; he was all over, day and night, supervising projects, hospitals, etc to see things for himself. Indeed, the years of Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf are benefitable to all of us.”
He congratulated people of the state for having a visionary, dedicated and compassionate governor, who is up and doing to see the state is transformed beautifully and their socioeconomic wellbeing improved, urging them to continue supporting his people oriented policies to move Kano forward.
To this end, Dr. Labaran prayed for sustained Allah’s guidance and shield to governor Abba Kabir Yusuf to continue providing meaningful leadership cherished by all.
