CHAIRMAN NAHCON APPLAUDS 2025 HAJJ OPERATIONS OF STATES PILGRIMS WELFARE BOARDS

The National Hajj Commission has describe tremendous success recorded in 2025 Hajj operations along with commitments of states pilgrims welfare boards.

The chairman of the commission Professor Abdullahi Sale Usman stated this at the Independent Hajj Reporters 2025 Annual Lecture and Award presentation held at National Mosque Abuja.

The chairman represented by the Commissioner operations Prince Anobi Elegushi commended some states government who injected funds to secure allocated seats at the right time.

The chairman who pointed out success of the operations despite some challenges lamented on indiscriminate sharing of unwanted stories that will distablize and tarnish the image of Nigeria by some media outfits.

On his part the national president of Nigeria Union of Journalists Comrade Alhassan Yahaya who testified the success of 2025 hajj operations, charged Journalist to maintain ethics of the profession to ensure just and fair reportage.

The chairman forum of executive secretary pilgrims welfare boards represented by Malam Salisu Abubakar Adamawa pledged to improve on the Hajji operations by learning from previous events and challenges that were observed in 2025 hajj operations, while commending on NAHCON leadership for its dedication and successful operations.
