Rogo Local Government has taken a significant step toward improving education by distributing free uniforms to more than 18,400 primary school pupils.

This initiative aligns with Governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf’s education reform agenda, which has been hailed as unprecedented in the history of Kano State.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony held at the Rogo Local Government Chairman’s office, the Education Secretary, Malam Sule Imam, praised the Governor’s commitment to education.
He described the emergency in education introduced by the Governor as a transformative move and pledged continued support for government policies aimed at enhancing education across the state.
The New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) Caucus Chairman, Alhaji Ibrahim Zoza, commended the legacy of free education established by Engineer Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso and sustained by Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf.
He highlighted the administration’s efforts in promoting grassroots education and empowering women, urging parents to support these initiatives for sustainable development.
Malam Abdurrahman Lawan Rogo, Chairman of the Education Committee, reaffirmed the committee’s dedication to achieving the administration’s educational objectives.

In his remarks, the Chairman of Rogo Local Government, Alhaji Abubakar Mustapha Rogo, expressed his gratitude for the Governor’s initiatives and promised continued support for improving education and providing teaching facilities in the area.
