Defence minister Muhammad Badaru Abubakar said, federal government is working round the clock to ensure security of lives and properties and boost the nation’s economy.
The minister made the remark while speaking at the opening ceremony of 45th Kano International Trade Fair 2024 in Kano on Saturday.
He said, the government is putting a lot of effort in securing the country for businesses to triumph bearing in minds the role security play in all aspects of life.

Declaring the Trade Fair Open, vice president Kashim Shattima who was represented by special assistant to the president on economic matters Adeyemi Dipeolu applauded KACCIMA for organizing the event and assured them of the federal government support.
On his part, Kano state Governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf who was represented by commissioner of commerce, industries and cooperatives said, the state government will continue to support KACCIMA for the development of the chamber and Kano economy in General.
He said, the state government is planning huge employment for businesses across the state.
On his part, president, Kano chamber of commerce, industry, mines and agriculture (KACCIMA) Alhaji Garba Imam revealed that over three hundred companies will participate in this year’s trade fair.
