The visit began with an initial strategic meeting chaired by the Director-General, Kano State Primary Health Care Management Board (KSPHCMB), Professor Salisu Ahmad Ibrahim, bringing together senior state health leaders and development partners to review health sector priorities, progress, and collaborative plans.

The mission also visited the State Cold Room at Abdullahi Wase Specialist Hospital to assess cold chain capacity, vaccine stock management, and readiness for upcoming immunization campaigns.

A major highlight was the formal handover of 28 solarized Primary Health Centres (PHCs) to the Kano State Government.
