The Kano State government has charged the Nigerian army 3 Brigade Kano to work in synergy with all sister Security agencies in the state towards ensuring sustenance of peace.
Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf Explained that during an interview with newsmen at the West African Social Activities (WASA) event hosted by the Commander of the 3 Brigade Infantry, Nigerian Army, at the prestigious Bukavu Barracks, Kano.
The Governor who was represented by the Director General Special Service AVM Ibrahim Umaru (RTD) cited that celebrating rich cultural heritage of West Africa, brought together military personnel, community leaders, and dignitaries in a vibrant display of unity and tradition.
The Governor added that the contributions of this great and historic Brigade towards the maintenance of peace and tranquility in the state cannot be over emphasized.
He also task the command of 3 Brigade to take very seriously discharge of their primary duty to Kano state and within it is environs.
“Your unwavering loyality, sacrifices and hard work are highly appreciated,So i urged you to keep doing the good work.
”I implore you to work in collaboration with other security sisters to continuously bring peace and harmony in Our dear state.
”Today I am proud of Kano is one of the safest if not the safest in the Nation Currently.
The State Governor added that his Administration will continue to give the Nigerian Army the maximum supports at all the times.
He further said that they really appreciated the chief of army staff Lieutenant General OO Oluyede and the general officer commanding 1 division of the Nigerian Army also the Commander of the 3 Brigade and all Officers,Soldiers and their families and all those who presided in the time of all this Activities.
The Governor said that his doors are always open to table their requests and assured that government will keep doing the best that will make Kano great and peaceful.
”Through collaboration and shared cultural experiences, the continent could achieve a more cohesive and harmonious society.
He finally assured the State government continued support for the military in strengthening and maintaining the existing cordial relationships
