The District Head of Ungogo Local Government, Magajin Malam Alhaji Abdulkadir Ahmed Chedi has called on village and ward heads to continue to render their contributions towards the eradication of polio in the area.
This statement was made during a review meeting on the first day of the immunization exercise.

Alhaji Abdulkadir Ahmed Chedi emphasized on the importance of parents bringing their children under five years old to receive the vaccine.
The Chairman of the local government, Alhaji Tijjani Amiru Bilyamu, represented by the vice chairman Auwalu Isa Idris assured that all councillors and advisers would contribute to the program’s success.

The primary health care coordinator, Malan Isa Aminu Kofar Nassarawa, and health educator Hajiya Jummai Ahmed urged ad hoc staff to work closely with traditional leaders to ensure children in the area receive the vaccine.
