A newly constructed Jumu’at mosque within the Kano Government House has been officially commissioned today by Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf.
This significant event took place on Friday, with the Emir of Kano, Malam Muhammad Sanusi, leading the Jumu’at congregational prayer attended by a large gathering of faithful.
The Commissioner of the Ministry of Mineral Resources, Alhaji Hamza Safiyanu Kachako, expressed his admiration for the Governor’s initiative.
In his remarks, he emphasized the importance of having a befitting Jumu’at mosque situated within the Government House, highlighting it as a forward-thinking move that enhances the spiritual atmosphere of the state’s leadership.
He prayed for Almighty Allah to reward Governor Yusuf for this accomplishment and wished him good health as he continues to steer the state positively.
This new mosque not only serves as a place of worship but also stands as a symbol of the commitment to providing essential facilities for the spiritual well-being of both government officials and the citizens of Kano State.
