The Kano State Signage and Advertisement Agency has today stopped a roadshow advertisement organized by a mobile phone company.
This was issued in a press release by the Director, Public Enlightenment KASSA Munzali Muhd Hausawa.
Announcing the closure of the roadshow, the Director General of the Agency, Comrade Kabir Said Dakata, explained that the law establishing the Agency clearly states that any company or association that fails to register with the Agency has no right to operate any roadshow advertisement in Kano State.
The agency also stopped another roadshow advertising in sabon gari market by a Noddles company.
Comrade Kabir further noted that the Agency was established by the Kano State House of Assembly and signed into law by the Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf.
He therefore called on companies operating in Kano, as well as other relevant organizations, to comply with the Agency’s regulations in order to avoid sanctions from the Task Force.
Comrade Kabir urged the people of Kano State to continue supporting and patronizing the present administration under Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf.
