Alhamdulillah, all praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds and the Creator of mankind.
This is to sincerely express my profound gratitude and appreciation to His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, for his prompt intervention and sponsorship of my medical treatment and surgery at one of the specialist clinics here in Kano.
This humane gesture by His Excellency has clearly demonstrated his genuine concern for the health and well-being of the people of the State.
I also wish to specially acknowledge the Spokesperson to His Excellency, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, whose unwavering commitment to ensuring the immediate execution of the Governor’s directive greatly expedited my treatment process.
Similarly, I deeply appreciate the Chairman of the Kano State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Comrade Suleiman Abdullahi Dederi, for his consistent follow-up and monitoring of my medication and recovery.
My heartfelt thanks also go to the Managing Director of Radio Kano, Comrade Abubakar Adamu Rano, other media chief executives, senior colleagues, fellow journalists, neighbours, and the good people of Kano and beyond, whose visits, calls, and messages of sympathy and encouragement were overwhelming. Your kindness and prayers strengthened me throughout the period of my hospitalization.
By the special grace of Allah, I have been discharged from the hospital after a successful surgery and am now recovering steadily at home.
May Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala reward His Excellency, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, and all those who contributed in one way or another to the success of my treatment.FA
