The Kano State Housing Corporation is set to lead a massive sanitation initiative at Kwankwasiyya City today in an efforts to ensure greener and healthy environment.
The Acting Managing Director of the Corporation Engr. Isyaku Umar Kwa leads this effort which is aims at enhancing the livelihood and aesthetic appeal of the city, aligning with Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf’s administration’s for a visionary and sustainable urban development.
Engr. Kwa pointed out that this will certainly enhance sanitary services in maintaining a clean environment, by restoring the beautification of public spaces by encouraging residents in the community to have active participation in cleanliness of the city, he emphasized’.
He dwelt on Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf’s administration in prioritizing urban renewal and infrastructure development in Kwankwasiyya City, Bandirawo and Amana city respectively, addressing challenges such as urban Sustainability, Fostering economic growth, social development, and environmental sustainability among others.
Engr. Kwa further explain that Kano State Housing Corporation remains committed to supporting the state government’s initiatives, ensuring the success of the projects like Kwankwasiyya City.
This sanitation exercise demonstrates our dedication to Sustainable Urban Development Community Engagement Environmental Protection.

He stressed some of the community benefiting drive from the sanitation exercise includes, Improved Public Health reducing the risk of sanitary related diseases, enhanced Quality of Life, Creating a cleaner and more beautiful environment for all.
He also enjoined all residents of Kwankwasiyya City, Bandirawo and Amana city must join hands in this noble initiative. together, we can make our city a better place to live, work, and thrive.
