The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshall Hassan Bala Abubakar officially commissioned the new renovated ten by one, two bedroom blocks for Nigeria Air Force 455 Base Service Group Kano.
The renovated blocks of ten in one, nine blocks were allocated three blocks for officers, six for all air men and women officers accommodation.
Air Marshall H.N Abubakar said the key pillar of his leadership is to improve the welfare of officers men and women accommodation and to transform the Nigerian Air Force into an agile force in the Nation by effectively meeting the air force demand of National Security in all operational environment.
He also they will soon commission the vocational center, Modern Military Air Commanders office at Malam Aminu Kano International AirPort and two additional blocks with six by two bedrooms among others.
“One of the key enablers to achieve the command philosophy is through maintaining the highly motivated force by enhancing welfare and infrastructural renewal” H.B Abubakar said.
He also appreciated the tremendous support giving to the Nigerian Air Force by President Bola Ahmad Tinubu to enable them carry out their duty accordingly for providing peace and security in the Nation.
On his part, the commander of 455 Base Service Group Kano, Group Captain M. Suleiman said with this achievement they owned the service and the nation their commitment in discharging their duty
The 455 Commander present the trophy won by NAF Cobras FC at the fourth edition of the annual Chief of Air Staff National Peace U20 male youth football tournament that was organized by African Youth Sports Federation (AYSOF) last year.
