36th Jigawa Quranic Competition Gwaram LGA Celebrates AbdulJabbar Idris

Farin Dutse Community (Gwaram LGA) Honors Own- Son for Winning 60 Hizb (Qur’anic recitation, Tafsir, and Qira’at) at the 36th Jigawa State Musabaqa Competition Dec. 2024.

The Farin Dutse community celebrated one of their own, Abduljabbar Idris Farin Dutse, for emerging as the Winner of the 2024 Jigawa state highest category, which is 60 Hizb (Qur’anic recitation, Tafsir, and Qira’at), held at the state capital, Dutse.

The competition, which attracted participants from various communities across the state, highlight on the importance of Quranic studies and memorization in promoting Islamic education.

The event was marked by a special Walima with massive turnout of community members in attendance, along with the Village Head of Farin Dutse Malam Mustapha Hassan and other prominent people.

While making his remarks, the village Head urge his wards to pursue for Islamic Knowledge and involve themselves with the teaching and ethics of Islamic religion which will be a saviour in the world (Duniya) as well as in the eternity as today Abduljabbar has made the whole community proud.

The village head further commended the Executive Governor of Jigawa State Mallam Umar Namadi fca for the sound policies, plans, programme and initiative for the less privilege in the society to benefit from the bounties of his leadership style.

He appreciates what has been accorded to the son of the soil and assured His Excellency their unflinching support at all times.

He also extended his heart felt gesture demonstrated by the Rt Honourable Speaker jigawa state house of Assembly Hon. Haruna Aliyu Dangyatin, for donating cash gifts to the top winner worth one hundred thousand naira.

The Village Head further assured their continued support to the Emir of Dutse Alhaji Hamim Nuhu Muhammad Sunusi under whose guidance and leadership the indigent of the Emirate found it worthy to send their wards to attain both Islamic and Western education.

While commenting after reading from the glorious Quran, Malam Abduljabbar Idris Farin Dutse, expressed his gratitude for the support he received from his Parents, teachers, family and community members, emphasizing on the role of perseverance and dedication in achieving his goals.

He encouraged other youths in the community to engage in Quranic memorization and seek knowledge.

The Imam of the Farin Dutse Sunnah Mosque Malam Bala Idris extol in the tremendous achievement and recount dedication of some selected few individuals that had yielded results stating that it serves as an inspiration for the younger generation and reflects the community’s commitment to fostering Islamic values and education.

The Farin Dutse community members were excited in the milestone achievements recorded by their son and pledged to support their children/wards in both Quran and Western education in  venturing into innovation of nurturing future scholars that will be impactful in  the field of education for a better and knowledgeable community.
