Shanono local government Chapter of the Youth Council of Nigeria has elected new executives to run its affairs for the next three years.
In a press statement issued by Shanono local government information officer Hafsat Garba
Those elected include Auwalu Lawan Sani as Chairman, Aliyu Salisu Lawan Vice Chairman, Abba Usman Ahmed Treasurer and Sirajo Garba Public Relations officer.
Others are Anas Hudu Leni Asst Secretary, Abdulmalik Adam financial Secretary and Mika’il M Sale auditor while Wasila Lawan as Chairlady.
Speaking after the election, the new chairman,. Auwalu Lawan Sani thanked all members for the confidence reposed in them.
He pledged to work hard to achieve success.
The Council Chairman Alh, Abubakar Barau represented by the Head of Community Development Department, Alh Gambo Isyaku Gwarzo urged the newly elected executives to be good ambassadors of the area at all times.
He also advised them to always be committed to the welfare of Youths in Shanono local government area.
