The recent delivery of federal government Rice palliatives headed by the Deputy Senate President, Barau Jibrin Maliya has thrown smiles in the minds and mouths of the people in Kano State.
The message of federal government Rice palliatives had come at a right time when people are battling and struggling on what to eat on daily basis as the palliatives had bring succour to the lives of the people State.
In a statement issued by the Senior legislative Aide to the Deputy Senate President, Hon Mansur Ibrahim Maiganji while supervising the Palliatives distribution exercise.
Hon. Mansur Ibrahim Maiganji said the palliatives is meant for the North West geopolitical zone and because of Kano’s strategic importance the federal government decided to lunch the program in Kano, hence it extended its invitation to all categories of people irrespective of political and religious affiliations.
The Senior legislative Aide further stated that the distribution was carried out successfully and the people of Kano remain highly grateful to the Federal government and the Deputy Senate President for the judicious management and distribution of the Rice palliatives across the region.
Hon Mansur Ibrahim Maiganji similarly pointed out that such gesture will continue and as he is fully committed towards bringing succour to the people of the State and the nation in general.
Barau Jibrin was highly respected and recognized by the people of the State considering series of interventions he is bringing to both his Constituents, Kano North and the State in general
Many beneficiaries expressed satisfaction with the way and manner the palliatives was distributed devoid of rancor and irregularities, signifying the elderly and mature nature of Senator Barau Jibrin in handling the issues judiciously
