Chairman of Danbatta Local Government area, Hon. Jamilu Abubakar Danbatta said Education has been described as a crucial tool for societal development.
In a press statement issued by the zonal information officer Munzali Muhammad Hausawa.
He said the chairman made this remark while receiving teaching materials and three-seater desks donated by the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) at the local government secretariat.
Hon. Jamilu emphasized his administration’s commitment to providing quality education for rural communities, aligning with the vision of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf Administration.
Recalling from his experience as a former teacher, he revealed that he personally supervise schools in the area to ensure quality standards.
He urged teachers and parents in Danbatta to utilize the materials effectively to enhance teaching and learning in the area.
On his part the Acting Education Secretary, Alhaji Auwalu Abdulhamid, commended the state government’s prioritization of education, noting that significant funds have been allocated for education in the 2025 fiscal year under Governor Yusuf’s administration.
Additionally, the Director Personnel Management, Alhaji Ibrahim Barwa, appealed to wealthy individuals and donors partners to support the provision of teaching aids to achieve educational goals in Danbatta.
This event highlighted the collective efforts aimed at improving the education sector in the region, fostering growth and development for the community.
