As part of it’s commitment to the development of education in zamfara State, Nigeria Association of Women Journalists has sponsored the enrollment of ten girls into school.
The Zamfara State NAWOJ Chairperson Comrade Jamila Musa Kanoma stated this while speaking to newsmen in Gusau the state capital.

According to the chairperson, NAWOJ in collaboration with NGO’S are doing everything possible in taking the state educational sector to a greater height.
Comrade Jamila explained that,as a focal person for (AGILE) adolescent girl child initiative for learning and Empowerment has partnered to advocate for the girl child education across the fourteen local government areas of the state.
The state chapter, chairperson of NAWOJ Zamfara State council added that the Association has also attended the BI-annual Media round table discussion organized by AGILE in collaboration with the ministry of Education which is aimed to increase the number of girls enrollment, transition and completion rate for the immerse development of the state.
