Official hand over ceremony holds in tarauni LGA

In a formal handover ceremony at the Tarauni Local Government office, the Director of Administration and Finance, Alhaji Abdulkadir Muhammad Arabu, officially transferred the council’s administrative mandate to the newly appointed Chairman, Hon. Ahmed Ibrahim Muhammad Sekure.

The event marks a significant step in ensuring continuity and a smooth transition in Tarauni’s leadership.

During his remarks, Alhaji Abdulkadir Muhammad Arabu emphasized that the transfer of administrative documents is a testament to the council’s commitment for progress and stability in its programs.

He highlighted several achievements made under his acting capacity which include advancements in infrastructure, healthcare and education as well express confidence on Hon. Sekure would build upon these efforts to foster ongoing development and improved services for Tarauni residents.

Hon. Ahmed Ibrahim Muhammad Sekure, who has already commenced his tenure with a visit to patients at Unguwa Uku General Hospital, express his deep appreciation for the trust placed in him to serve the community.

He assured stakeholders of his dedication to transparent governance and a commitment to advancing the council’s achievements for the betterment of Tarauni.

In his closing remarks, Ahmed Ibrahim Sekure commended the Tarauni council staff for their outstanding support and cooperation, which were crucial in facilitating the successful handover.
