Speaking during the flag-off ceremony in Kano metropolis, the Commissioner for Agriculture, Dr. Danjuma Mahmoud represented by the State Project Coordinator of the Kano State Agro-Pastoral Development Project (KSADP), Malam Ibrahim Garba Muhammad said the initiative is jointly funded by the Kano State Government, the Islamic Development Bank, and the Lives and Livelihood Fund.

He highlighted several key developmental projects executed under KSADP, including the construction of mini collection centres, 60 slaughterhouses, development of the Dansoshiya grazing reserve, irrigation expansion at Watari and Kafinciri, as well as various interventions targeted at vulnerable groups.
