The Kano State Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation has partnered with Emirsultan Vakfi Turkey and Baris Charity Foundation Nigeria to provide a 3-Day Free Eye Surgery program for the people of Kano State.

The Honourable Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Hajiya Amina Abdullahi Sani (HOD) expressed gratitude to the partnering organizations for their commitment to providing humanitarian services, particularly in the area of healthcare.
The Honourable Commissioner thanked Emirsultan Vakfi Turkey and Baris Charity Foundation Nigeria for their good work and the free eye surgery program, on behalf of the Executive Governor of Kano State, Engr Abba Kabir Yusuf.
The Ministry aims to provide timely and effective humanitarian interventions to the most vulnerable populations, including the poor, vulnerable, and less privileged individuals, as well as persons with disabilities.
The Executive Governor’s passion for Humanity led to the establishment of the Humanitarian Ministry, which aims to support the vulnerable across the state.
The Honourable Commissioner added that the Executive Governor His Excellency Engr Abba Kabir Yusuf is always ready to collaborate with any Organization willing to help and support the less privileged and vulnerable.
