The Kano State Primary Health Care Management Board (KSPHCMB) has commenced its July Senior Staff Promotional Interview exercise, which will run from September 3rd to 4th, 2025.

This was disclosed in a press release issued by the. KSPHCMB public relations officer Sa’adatu Suleiman.

The exercise, which involves the interview of about 740 senior staff across various cadres, is a significant step toward enhancing efficiency, motivation, and productivity within the state’s primary health care system.

To ensure fairness and credibility, the promotional interview has been organized into six panels (A–F), each headed by the Board’s Directors, alongside representatives from the Ministry of Local Government and the Office of the Head of Service.

The Promotion Committee is chaired by Jazuli Jaafar, Director of Administration and Human Resources, while Muktar Muhammad Abdullahi (PAS) serves as Secretary of the Committee.

The committee has also received strong support from the Medical and Health Workers Union under the leadership of Comrade Babangida Musa Gwarzo, further demonstrating the collaborative spirit of all stakeholders in improving the welfare of health workers in the state.

The Director General of KSPHCMB, Professor Salisu Ahmad Ibrahim, has been commended for his leadership and commitment, particularly for the timely release of funds for the July 2025 and January 2026 promotion exercises, which has paved the way for the smooth conduct of this crucial exercise.

The Board reiterates its dedication to creating an enabling environment for health workers to thrive, recognizing that their welfare is key to achieving improved primary health care delivery for the people of Kano State.
