The Chairman of the Committee on Electricity in Old Rogo, Alhaji Magaji Hamza (Ganduje), has commended the Director General of Protocol to the Kano State Government, Alhaji Abdullahi Ibrahim Rogo, for his remarkable efforts in providing electricity to the community.
In a press statement issued by the Information Officer, Rogo Local Government Audu Bako Abdullahi.
He further stated that this initiative is part of the Director General’s plans to improve the welfare and quality of life of the people.
In his remarks, the Village Head of Old Rogo, Alhaji Sunusi Dahiru, expressed his joy, describing the event as a historic milestone that will be remembered by the people for generations to come.
On behalf of the entire community, he conveyed his gratitude and offered prayers for Allah to strengthen the leaders in their continued efforts to support the people.
Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, the Chairman of Rogo Local Government, Alhaji Abubakar Mustapha Rogo, described the project as a reward for the people’s support of the political ideology of Senator Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso.
He emphasized that such developmental projects by Alhaji Abdullahi Ibrahim Rogo are inspired by Governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, whom he described as a product of Kwankwasiyya’s principles.
The Chairman further urged the residents of Zamfarawa and Old Rogo to safeguard the newly provided infrastructure and promptly report any attempts to vandalize it to the relevant authorities.
