The Kano State Legal Counsel football team suffered a narrow defeat at the hands of their Kaduna NBA counterparts, losing 1-0 in a thrilling display of skills and teamwork by both teams. The Kaduna NBA team’s single goal proved to be the decisive factor, as the Kano State team fought hard to equalize but ultimately fell short.

The Statement said the friendly football match between the Kano State Legal Counsel team and their Kaduna NBA counterparts kicked off with a ceremonial start by retired Justice Lawan Wada Mahmoud at the iconic Murtala Muhammed Stadium in Kaduna State.

The Solicitor General and Permanent Secretary, Kano State Ministry of Justice, Barr. Mustapha Nurraddeen Muhammad, witnessed the event, cheering on the Kano State team as they battled it out on the pitch.

Despite the loss, Barr. Muhammad expressed pride in the team’s performance, noting that they had given their best effort.

The Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Kano State, expressed happiness with the team’s performance, praising their dedication and teamwork.

In a show of appreciation, the Attorney General rewarded the first eleven players with token cash, encouraging them to continue striving for excellence.

The friendly match was a great display of sportsmanship and camaraderie among legal practitioners from different states.
