The Kano State Commissioner for Mineral Resources, Alhaji Hamza Safiyanu Kachako, has expressed profound sorrow and heartfelt sympathy to the Executive Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, and the resilient traders and families of Singer Market following the devastating fire outbreak that caused extensive property loss and emotional distress.

Describing the incident as a heartbreaking and painful tragedy, the Commissioner conveyed his deep regret over the hardship suffered by the affected business owners and the wider market community.

He acknowledged the emotional and economic toll of the inferno and assured them of his sincere solidarity during this difficult time.

Alhaji Hamza Safiyanu Kachako also expressed appreciation for the prompt intervention of the Kano State Government and emergency response agencies, whose swift actions helped to contain the situation.

He particularly recognized the compassion and leadership demonstrated by Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, who was personally present at the scene, overseeing response efforts and standing in support of the victims.

The Commissioner prayed that Almighty Allah (SWT) grants strength, patience, and fortitude to all those affected, and that He replaces their losses with greater blessings and renewed opportunities.

He further prayed for divine protection over all markets and communities across Kano State, asking Allah to continue to preserve peace, security, and prosperity in the state.

“May Allah, in His infinite mercy, ease the pain of this tragedy, restore what has been lost, and protect our state from future calamities. Ameen.”
